The Environment Agency has launched a new online service where you can apply for and manage environmental permissions in England. It is currently available for all new standard rules (SR) and bespoke applications for:
- Stationary stand‑alone medium combustion plant(s) (MCP)
- Stationary stand‑alone specified generator(s) (SG)
This new service has been designed with users at its core, and we’re confident it will make the application process more efficient, reduce administrative delays, and improve the overall experience for applicants. We strongly encourage you to begin using the service if you need to make a permit application, as your engagement will help us continue improving and streamlining our digital regulatory services going forward especially as we head towards permitting deadlines for existing 1-5MWth MCPs.
