Since the UK has left the European Union there has been a change to CE marking of products placed on the UK market in England, Scotland, and Wales, and some dates that manufacturers will need to comply with.
Jim Findlay, a long-standing CEA member has raised the following;

If you can please speak to your contacts in the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy, as we need to find a low cost Fast-Track method of issuing UKCA documents against CE documents where the same BSI/EN Standards are used in the UK, if UKCA marking is to be achieved by the end of this year.
Perhaps we can get KIWA in Cheltenham could give members an idea of cost of issuing UKCA documentation when genuine CE reports are provided.
Meantime as Chairman of BSI/GSE27 Oil & Gas Burner Committee I will liaise with BSI on this subject and update you accordingly.
